DIY freevalve: use pneumatic spool valves to control short action pnumatic pistons to open the intake valves on a miata engine, replacing the intake camshaft. Use a worm gear driven height limiter to set the lift of the valve. This combo gives you full variability in intake opening timing, close timing and valve lift. Remove the throttle body and replace it with controlled valve lift.
Add a digital signal processor (DSP) to a custom made guitar pickup. DSP’s are often used in guitar pedals. By adding one to the guitar itself you can have programmable preset configurations to make your guitar sound like any pedal, built in.
Carbon fiber sheet waterjet cut to pickleball paddle, 3d printed grip. Bonus points if you add an array of piezo buzzers on the backside of the paddle to get data on ball hit location and hit strength.
